Scientific Name: Hoya carnosa 'compacta'
Synonyms: Rope Hoya, Hindu Rope

  • High fascination value
  • Trailing, cascading plant
  • Spectacular clusters of pale pink and white flowers
  • Plant level: Easy

Your Hoya Compacta comes in a 12cm Hanging Nursery Pot.

Tightly growing, curly foliage of the Hoya Compacta is fascinating to observe and touch. They look super chunky and fleshy but are actually relatively thin, their growing habit incorporating an element of surprise.

Once a year, this succulent will delight you with a dazzling display of star-shaped clustered flowers, typical of the Hoya genus. As a cascading plant, you'll be rewarded by this spectacle as the flowers adorn the trailing branches. To show off this charming characteristic, consider styling your plant on a shelf, or in a hanger. They'll also look great as a tabletop plant, with its branches spreading out on the surface.

Hoya Compacta is a popular houseplant due to its easy care nature: Place it in a brightly lit area to encourage it to flower. Water it generously whenever you feel the top 2-3cm of soil has dried out.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Follow these instructions to keep your Hoya houseplant healthy and happy.

Light: Very bright indirect light, especially if you'd like your Hoya to flower.
Humidity: Medium Humidity should be fine. Place in "stable" - not too humid or drafty.
Fertilize: Balanced Liquid Fertilizer about every 4 weeks in the Spring and Summer.
